XP Directory Privacy Removal (NTFS)

One of my users applied the privacy setting for their directories...
The user vandalized our company laptop, is no longer with the company
and we need to get to their work product for which we paid. I've
extracted the 2.5" harddrive and connected it via a USB 2.0 adapter.
I'm logged in as administrator and there is no "Security Tab" under
permissions for the entire drive/directory/subfolders, therefore I'm
unable to take ownership. How can I remove the privacy settings on the
directories of this drive?

Thanks,
1HG

Disable simple file sharing. Simple file sharing disables the security tab.
