I had a virus, tibs3 autodialer. It adds a new modem connection to
your machine and dials up to remote destinations, causing you to have
a huge phone bill. I removed the virus, but now I cannot dial-up via
my modem. The modem detects no dial tone. I reinstalled the modem
drivers - this did not help.
My guess is that tibs3 replaced some WindowsXP dll that is responsible
for dialing, causing it to use tibs3 connection whenever I try to
establish normal connection.
Does anyone know which DLL on Windows XP is responsible for
establishing dial-up connections, so that I could restore it?
Thanks!
