XP Controls

I am fairly knowledgable in XP, digital cameras and photograhpy. My question
is I have a Nikon D70, I hook it up to my desktop computer and XP auto
detects and then comes up with some controls for my camera which are GREAT!
It allows me to actually take a picture using windows XP, on the right hand
side of the window it says Take a Picture and when you click it it auto
focuses the camera pops the flash etc and snaps the shot then downloads it to
the PC. BUT! when I hook it up to my laptop I do not get these same controls
I have the same updates installed and there both XP Home. What am I missing?
I would love to have the controls on my laptop for when I do remote shoots.
Thanks for the help!

It may be that you installed the Nikon Capture software on your desktop, but
not yet on your laptop.
You need this to control the camera from your computer.
