xp clients

hi every one :
i have created a domain with windows 2000 advanced server
as a domain controller and i tried to make windows xp
clients join the domain and when i enter the user name and
password to add them as members of the domain it says the
network name could not be found !!!!!!!
what shall i do to make the users join the domain ?

Check DNS setup on this machines - the DNS Server name in your TCP/IP
configuration on client should point to the server which is holding
information about the domain (in most cases Your DC)
