XP classic colors come back?

XP toolbar colors revert into classical after 5 minute of booting up.
I hear a sharp squelch internal tower, then windows logo
appear that reads, “Waitâ€, which I found I can’t do anything anyway
then, fades into gray screen. Poof!
Back to dual Classic Windows colors. On tool bar and windows layout.
I go back into properties, go to Appearance, click on Windows XP style,
apply and
It will go back into Windows XP style, until I reboot and then the cycle
starts all over again. I have tried everything with Display Properties for
the tool bar.
Any new suggestions would be beneficial?

Hi,

With the information provided, I suspect that the issue is due to some
corrupted display drivers. Even though the display drivers are corrupted,
windows may use the native drivers. I recommend you to check the Device
Manager to know the status of the corrupted drivers. Also, if the udpated
drivers are available, download and install the same. Also, check the
following web site:

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Download and run the following script:

187. Restore Themes Functionality (Right hand side)
214. (Right hand side) Windows XP Style Changes to Windows Classic

271. Stuck in Classic View? Undo Now

If XP Pro you can use Group Policy...

Start | Run | Type: gpedit.msc | OK |

Navigate to >>>

User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar\
Force Classic Start Menu
Set to: Not Configured

User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Desktop Themes\
Load a specific visual style file or force Windows Classic
Set to: Not Configured

The will resolve the issue.
