Xp can't find Domain Users

S

Slim

I am trying to add a 2000 domain users group to a local
user group on XP Pro. I have logged into the doman as the
admin and I can see the server shares. When I add users to
the local group I pull up a list of users, but it only
shows me a list of the local users and not the domain.
There is no option to change locations to search like
there was in 2000 Pro.

Any ideas??

Thanks!

Also usually a DNS issue.
As per your other post.

Does it let you add them if you specify the group using domainname\username?
If not, what error message do you get?

We had a similar problem at work some time ago. You could
always use the command line tool to add (domain) users to
the local group. I don't have the syntax to hand but I;m
sure Google will provide the answer!
