XP Autoplay music files handlers no existent

A while back, I deleted iTunes Manually (stupidly) from the HD, and via
regedit.

Now, the handlers for autoplaying music files are no longer available. I
have re-installed & uninstalled iTunes, downloaded 'Autofix.exe' from
Microsoft & various other sites, but to no avail, 'Autofix' doesn't see the
problem. and the handlers are still missing, after I have re-uninstalled
iTunes,

I have also tried all autoplay related guides at kellys-korner.com

To those who responded to my previous post, thanks but do you have any other
advice.

Thanks in advance.

Try using a system restore point back before you deleted
the iTunes.

Trouble is, that was a few months ago, and whilst the problem is very
annoying, it isn't annoying as reinstalling and setting up the software that
it have installed since then, thanks tho'
