xp and yahoo don't mix

[euchre addicted]

I am trying to play euchre on yahoo on a new computer
with xp. When I try to go in the game room to play, the
applet I am presuming will not download. Nothing
happens. It says if applet does not load, click here and
wait 3 minutes. Again, nothing. Any suggestions.

Probably an issue of not having java installed, so go to Start/Run and type
in "wjview" without the quotes. If it shows you less than build 38.10 of
the Microsoft's Virtual Machine (java) or none at all, take a look at this
web page for details and download locations:

Also, make sure you visit the Windows Update web site to get your system
current with all the security fixes. It is imperative you are running the
built-in Internet Connection Firewall (take a look in Help and Support for
how to turn it on), and keep on top of all the updates. Also, you can check

how to protect your computer.
