I have 2 days left to activate windows xp home edition, and i cannot find my code. I have no idea what happened to it?i have tried everything i can think of even crackz but none seem to work!! i am clueless and desperate! can anyone help??

Huh?
You activate online or by phone... They give you a number.
You are running XP, so you entered the CD Key.. But if you don't have it and
need it:

Purchased a retail version? Contact Microsoft. OEM version? Contact the
place where you purchased it, or contact the PC manufacturer.

By the way, the Product key is usually affixed to the jewel case of retail
versions, and is usually either affixed to the back (desktop) or bottom
(laptop) of your computer for OEM versions.

You do not need a code to hand in order to activate - the system will
supply it for itself. Just get on the net then go to
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Activate Windows
and use 'Activate on the Internet now'. It will take maybe 20 seconds.

To find the code against a future need - should you have to reinstall -
get the free Everest Home edition from
http://www.lavalys.com/index.php?page=product&view=1
which is an excellent general System Info tool, and its Operating System
- Operating System page will tell you the one used

Note that if the machine came with XP installed, this will probably give
a key used in producing an original image, then cloned to all machines
they make. So it is not the one for a reinstall. But then the key will
be on a label on the case of the machine
