xlmparse.dll error in Outlook 2002

T

Tracy

Everytime that I open an email, I get an error message
saying that Outlook cannot locate the xlmparse.dll file
and reinstallation may help. The email still opens, but
this is an annoyance that I would like to get rid of. I
have tried running the "detect and repair" and I did a re-
installation of Outlook. Nothing is working...does anyone
have an idea?

I think that you have AOL Messenger installed that is causing thi
problem.

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks), an
then click OK.

3. In the System Configuration Utility box, click the Startup tab.

4. Clear all check boxes that are associated with AOL Messenger an
then click Apply, and then click OK.

5. Restart your computer.

6. Select the option which says "Do not Show this at Startup".

Hope this Helps !!

Hi,

This has probably happened bacause you have the AOL Messenger in your
computer. To resolve the issue do the following.

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks), and then
click OK.

3. In the System Configuration Utility box, click the Startup tab.

4. Clear all check boxes that are associated with AOL Messenger and then
click Apply and then click OK.

5. Restart your computer.

Click to Select the option which says do not show this while starting up (
in the System Configuration Utility Dialog box ).

Also, Please post in one group, not in all the new servers available.

Regards,
