xl2007 text import tool

I'm trying to import data from a large (greater that 1m rows) text file into
more than one sheet in a workbook. In the first sheet, I simply let the tool
import till it hits the 1048576 row limit. In the second sheet, I have the
tool start at row 1048577, and am hoping that it will import again starting
at the row, till it runs out of space. However, it's only returning a single
cell full of data (cell A1), and nothing else comes back.
Any suggestions appreciated.
