xl filter &/or freeze panes point changes on reopen!

any advice on some strange behavior i'm seeing in xl
2003??

- when i open a file that has previously been filtered it
initially blinks up thye filtered view then changes to
show all!!

- when i open a file that has been saved with a freeze
panes setting i get a few blinks and then the freeze
panes position changes!!

apologies if this is a known issues but i could find
record of it via search or a from a quick scan this forum

my file also has track changes turned on - ie its shared -
whether thats relevant or not I'm not sure!

I'd guess you have a macro opening when you load your workbook.

Try turning off macros and opening your workbook.

If that helps, time to see the developer and complain!
