Hi,
I just received a spreadsheet from a financial service. It shows a column
of data that ought to be numbers but is instead text. XL 2003 has the
"yellow exclamation point" that allows me to convert from text to number.
Given that I have more than a 100 rows, I would prefer not to do this one at
a time. Is there a feature in XL 2003 that allows me to do this en masse?
If not, no big deal. I can easily create a separate column and use the
required text functions to convert the text to numbers and then copy over
the text. I am just curious if part of XL 2003's new and improved feature
list includes performing text to numbers en masse.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Kevin
