Xaml 3D tools

Does Microsoft provide any tools for creating simple 3D collections of
shapes/drawings and outputing the results in an Xaml format that can be
dropped into a Wpf application.

Expression Blend is the tool set you need. Be sure to download Silverlight
as well.

I appreciate the input.

I am not trying to be cheap but at his point my supervisor will not cover 3D
tools. Is there an alternative that will produce Wpf compatible Xaml. All I
want is something to put a few shapes together for experimenting. I can see
that Blend is very powerful. It is also much more then I need and more then I
can afford personally.
