Hi,

I'm searching for a WYSIWYG-Editor to make CSS-Layouts for a homepage.

Important: the layouts should be displayed correctly in NN4.

I tested Cascade but there are too few possibilities.

Does somebody know about another editor?

I love XMLSPY <URL:http://www.xmlspy.com/> (MS-Windows and GNU/Linux)
but it's not freeware, only 30 day shareware trial available there...
I tried searching for a freeware alternative, unable to find anything
good. I would also be interesting about hearing if somebody knows any?

It's a web page that you knock up your CSS live on, not a freeware
app...just to clarify
Yes, I saw it. I think Selida or Morphon (just downloading) seem to be the
better alternatives.

Thanks anyway.

I am not sure I know what you mean but I use TopStyle Lite
http://www.bradsoft.com/download/index.asp

It's a very good free CSS editor.

Hi Laurence,

I want to create a css-layout for my homepage with 1
centered block element (fixed width) for the title logo and
2 block elements above for menu and content (also with
fixed width).

The layout should also display correctly in NN4.

That's asking a bit much: NN4 has terrible CSS support, which
is why Netscape gave up on it to develop the gecko based N7.

Best advice: if you need to see it in NC 4.X or lower, don't use
CSS.

Hmm, I don't see where they said it had to display identically in
NS4.x, just that it had to display "correctly." I still keep 4.8 on my
computer for a few things that it does better than any version since.
(Mainly printing, but also displaying some pages while using less
memory.) If style pages are turned off, it can display most pages,
even CSS ones, you just have to scroll down more.
