Hello

Does anybody know what authentication (and encryption)
schemes are supported by WTS 2003?
MS-CHAPv2+RC4/128bit? that's all?
what about diffie-hellman algorithm + another ciphers?
where can get some info about this? i've looked ms site
(technet,support) but with no success

Thanx
Alex

Take a look at the online help for Win2003. It has some more information
on TS encryption and group policy. FIPS is also an option.

i don't have win2003 installed so there`s no online help
(besides i think i wouldn't be satisfied with the help
saying "out encryption method is rc4 and our auth method
is kerberos", i need internals). i know that in win2000
wts the encryption method is rc4/128 bit and
authenticaton method is the one supported by the system
(either ntlm or kerberos), but what about win2003? any
changes? have ms implemented diffie-hellman exchange or
something else(cause ntlm sucks from security point of
view)? and where can i get some info about initial key
exchange (session key derived from ntlm hash)? any white
papers?
