Wrong Video Size

I have created a movie from two clips both of 720x576 resolution. I choose to
save the new movie with the profile DV-AVI PAL which states that it will
create a movie of 720x576 resolution. But when I play the created movie in
windows media player (view size 100%) it is streched to 768x576. The original
two files plays properly.

Anyone now how to get the correct size?

I Use Movimaker 1,1 and have no possibilty to update beacuse of company
policies.

768x576 is the correct display size for dv avi created by movie maker for
movies with frame aspect ratio of 4:3

The reason is simple: 768:576 = 4:3

720x576 is the PAL standard size for DVD and DV which means non-square pixel
encoding needs to be used to fit any 4:3 or 16:9 displayable frame into
720x576.

Hope it makes sense.
