wrong normal.dot via context menu

I previously posted to this news group a message concerning a Windows
XP/Word problem, namely that if I used the Windows right click menu to
place a new Word document into a particular folder, that Word document
had the wrong normal.dot.

Erasing all the normal.dot's on the hard drive did not solve the
problem.

Nor did installing all the Office service packs that Microsoft
provided.

The solution was Microsoft's own utility, "Tweak UI".

The utility permits additions to and subtractions from the right click
"New" menu.

I just removed from the right click menu the Word document with the
offending normal.dot, and added to the menu a Word document with the
correct normal.dot.

On a single user system, there should only ever be one normal.dot and that
should be in the hidden folder defined at tools > options > file locations >
user templates. On a multi-user PC, the users should not be able to access
each others' configurations to the detriment of their own.
