Write Conflict

Newby Access-SQL Server Question:
I have an Access front end and a MS SQL Server back end.
I imported the Access tables into SQL Server.
I have an ODBC connection to the SQL database. I am able
to edit and add records in the SQL database except I am
not able to edit new records added after the import. I
get the "Write Conflict" message.
I have missed a setting somewhere.
Any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.

Hi,

Take a look at:

You may receive write conflict errors when you update records of a linked
SQL Server table in Access 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;[LN];280730

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please

Thanks Eric,
It worked like a champ with our linked tables.
I would have never thought to look at nulls.

All the best,
