WRAP TEXT

I HAVE TRIED TO DO FORMAT, CELLS, ALIGNMENT & WRAP
TEXT...IT DOES NOT WORK. I'M TRYING TO DO THIS IN A CELL
THAT HAS BEEN MERGED WITH THREE OTHER CELLS TO THE RIGHT.
I AM SETTING UP A WORKSHEET TO BE USED AS A LAW FIRM'S
INVOICE AND NEED THE CELL WHERE THE NARRATIVE OF SERVICES
GOES TO WRAP THE TEXT

First, please turn off CAPS LOCK. Most find it hard to read and is considered
"shouting".

Second.......

Merged cells will allow "wrap text" from Format>Cells>Alignment but..........

Excel has a problem auto-fitting merged cells.

You can resize manually or via Macro. Jim Rech has written
code for this.

Note also a recent adaptation of this code by Greg Wilson.

The best cure is DON"T USE MERGED CELLS. They cause no end of problems with
copying, pasting, sorting, filtering.

Please turn off your CAPS Lock - it's considered the equivalent of
shouting in newsgroups, and more importantly, is more difficult to read.

I assume you mean that the cell height doesn't adjust automatically when
merged cells (which should never, IMHO, be used) are set to wrap text.

If that's the case, see Jim Rech's macro solution:
