WOW cpu limiting

M

Michael Bahr

WOW/NTVDMs run 100% cpu by default, sharing cylces when
needed, but keep total load to 100 at all times, creating
a toasty environment when running a lot of legacy
applications.

Is there a way to limit the load/priority (appears to be
executive system set)?

The standard registry settings for WOW, command line
parameters etc do not provide the functionality.

So far learned: Don't wear shorts when running DBase for
DOS!

any advise would be appreciated....
