Would like to find an old font from earlier Word releases

There's a font that used to be part of the standard list in the fonts menu
that I really liked, but I can't remember the name. I have not seen this
font in Word for many years, however I've seen it used in advertising copy a
fair amount.

I saw one or two sites that showed pages & pages worth of fonts, but they
mostly looked like tattoo fonts. This one looks a bit more like calligraphy,
and someone pointed out that it had tiny little notches in it, making it look
more interesting somehow.

Is there a place anywhere I could look it up?

thanks,

A good place to start would be http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/.
You can select a given product and see what fonts shipped with it. If you
see a name that looks promising, you can then select that font name and see
what it looks like. Although Word 2000 is the oldest Word version listed,
there are listings for Office 97 and Office 4.3 (whatever that was).
