The view is simply breathtaking!

This picture was made with Canon 5D mark II and a 400 mm lens. It is composed of 1665 full formatted pictures of 21.4 mega pixels and was recorded by a photo-robot in 172 minutes. The conversion of 102 GB raw data by a computer with a main memory cache of 48 GB and 1 processors took 94 hours. With a resolution of 297,500 x 87, 500 pixels (26 giga pixels), this picture is the largest in the world at this time.

Enjoy!

A brilliant find Quad

That is such an amazing photo, it's possible to zoom-in to buildings on the horizon, which are not even "visible" at first. Wow! Thank you for sharing. :D
