WORKSUITE 2005, WORD 2002 GETS INSTALLED, DOES NOT WORK

I need Word on my computer, bought Works suite 2005 which includes Word 2002.
Installed everything successfully, but now Word will come up, but will not
let me open any new documents. What to do???/
