Hi All

i have formula
=INDEX('C:\My documents\[Products.xls]September'!$A$1:$M$1000;
MATCH($A9;'C:\My documents\[Products.xls]September'!$A$1:$A$1000;);
MATCH(C$20;'C:\My documents\[Products.xls]September'!$1:$1;))
I have in workbook 12 sheets( 12 months)
I like to use cell A1 name of the month. Is it possible, that formula will
read sheet name from cell A1

You need an add-in, there is a built in function called INDIRECT that can do
this but only if the workbook is open, your use of the path indicates you
are pulling values from a closed workbook. You can download morefunc from
here

http://xcell05.free.fr/english/

it has a function called INDIRECT.EXT

ftp://members.aol.com/hrlngrv/

pull.zip will also work
