Every attachment I recieve in my windows email is being opened by works 8.
But, everyone gets the message "Works cant open the attachment. It may be
corrupt" I know the documents are fine. Any suggestions??

What type of attachment? PPS, DOC, XLS, JPG, TXT?
In order to have documents opened properly, you must have the
appropriate application or free viewer installed. Let us know what
you need.

The attachments are simple DOC files. I can open them if I save them, go to
Works, go through some convoluted steps LOL I can read the attachments .
Just cant read them from my email. Thanks

It will probably work better if you install the free Word Viewer:

If that does not cure the problem, apply this fix:

OE isn't smart enough to go through those steps for you.
