Working with an analog to digital transfer within Windows Movie Ma

I am transferring a VHS tape (analog) to a DVD. The tape contains >10 movies
taken originally on 16mm & 8mm. Can I move the digital file (2 hours total)
to Windows Movie Maker and edit it? Can I add titles (chapters) to seperate
the movies? Can I add music?

Yes I have done this with lots of my old VHS (PAL) analogue footage: uploaded
it from the VCR to the camcorder and then through to the PC, where you can
play with it just like any other captured video - titles, transitions,
clip-trimming, whatever. Then I output some of it back to tape, and some to
CD for archive. I was very pleased with the quality too - just about
indistinguishable from footage that started out as DV.
