Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to 'unstick' a working form/report/table, etc
in Access. Even if I design an entry form at say, 3" by 5" wide, it'll
automatically maximize to fill up the entire working screen next to the
navigation bar. To my knowledge, I have never set any property to maximize
every window. . . Did I miss a global setting, or is it an option I can turn
off?

Thanks,
Tripler

I can't be sure, but I suspect that you are using Access 2007 (or 2010) and
you have the document display option set (as it is by default) to "tabbed
documents", rather then "overlapping windows". This is in the "Current
Database" options that you can get to by clicking the Office button, then
"Access Options", and then choosing the "Current Database" tab. You want
"overlapping windows".

I am--Access 2007. And that was *exactly* what I needed; works like a
champ now! Thanks!
