working btwn 2 computers

I am trying to do an xmas presentation for work, and I only have a couple of
days to do this. I had done a lot of work today and then ftp'd the files to a
site where I can access my files at home.
I cannot open the file now, it can not locate any of the files I had added.
Before I waste an entire weekend on a file I'll be unable to open at work, i
need to find out if this will work.
If I work on my files at home and then send the movie maker format file back
to my pc at work, and duplicate the file structure in the same manner that I
am working on in my home pc, will I be able to open it without any problems?

But you may or may not have red X's in place of the clips on the timeline.
If you do then simply right click the X's and select locate missing files
and it should find them all for you.
