workgroup not accessible - SP2

I've scoured so many post's, followed countless repair tutorials. Nothing
seems to solve my dilema. When i try to view workgroup computers, i get the
common:

'workgroup' is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. contact the administrator .................
the list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.

The current setup is 2 winxp sp2 machines connected to a linksys router
which is connected to a cable modem. Both access the internet fine. Enabled
Sharing on both PC's, workgroups are idendicle, checked router to ensure no
restrictions, turned on NetBIOS over TCP/IP on both PC's... There are no
superfluous protocols, or firewalls.

One problem i noticed is that while Computer A can see Computer B on the
workgroup, he cant access or even ping B. Computer B, which cant view the
workgroup or ping himself, can ping Computer A fine though. Here is the
ipconfig.txt file i created for Computer B:

Hunter,

http://www.michna.com/kb/wxnet.htm can point at the solution.
