Good evening,
When attemping to connect to the "net" via NetZero
(version 7, installed 11/6, and after booting and arriving
at Desktop upon intial start.
I'm having problems a-plenty. To name the major ones...
1.) Getting the "Work Offline" box. I close it by
clicking the X. 2.) Next, I get the Web page unvailable
while offline" box. Again, I close it by clicking on the
X. Sometimes, this appears twice. Drama arises after the
IE window appears showing that it is unvailable. Screen
freezes. Have to Control-Alt-Delete repeatedly, and
Restart. This process can take up to 15 minutes. What's
possibly causing these repeated error messages? How can I
disable and/or fix them?
The origin of these problems arose, and I'm ashamed to
say, is when I installed/uninstalled a file sharing site's
software. The program/software had a lot of
undesirable "stuff" that accompanied it (i.e Gator, etc.,
so within minutes, I decide to get rid of it. What a mess!
All replies and assistance toward remedying this concern
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you, in advance.
