You can either attach the envelope to a document (it will be Section 1, Page
0) or create the envelope from scratch, using the desired envelope as the
paper size.

Thanks Suzanne. I probably did not properly phrase the question though. I go
to Tools>Envelopes and after typing in the address all I can do is print it
out. I don't have the option to save the envelope for future printings.

Yes, you do. Click the button that says "Add to Document." It will be
Section 1, Page 0 of the document, which isn't an ideal way to save an
envelope. A better approach is to create an envelope template and use it to
create envelopes.

You have to either add the envelope to a document, in which case you have to
print Page 0 or Section 1 of the document to print just the envelope, or
create an envelope template from scratch and use it to create envelopes as
documents, which you can then save.
