Word97 - How do I change 'Company:' default in File/Properties at startup

The default value for 'Company:' in File/Properties is
obsolete when Word97 starts up. I have changed this value
in normal.dot in the User Templates folder located in
Tools/Options/File Locations/User Templates. But each
time Word97 restarts it changes Company in normal.dot back
to the obsolete value. Is there a way to do this?

Hi, Dan,

According to http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=244080 the only way to
change the default for documents based on Normal.dot is to uninstall
and reinstall Word. It's a lot easier in later versions.
