word2007 Spell check

Bad Speller

Just upgraded from MSWord 2003 to 2007 and spell checking won't work. I've
been able to run the grammar check on and it functions but the spell check
won't pick up mis-spelled words. In the proofing section of word options all
seems like it is setup to work but it does refer to French a couple times and
I am in english. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, Bad Speller
