Word XP to Word 2003

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I recently bought a new dell to replace an existing desktop. The old PC had
WinXP and Office XP on it. I put Office 2003 on the new PC and copied most
of the user files over to the new machine.
How do I copy the user's settings (signatures,autotext,dictionaries...) from
the old machine (Word XP) to the new machine (Word 2003).

Is it the normal.dot files and the custom.dic files or is there something
else?
I didn't want to copy the normal.dot file unless I was sure that was what I
needed, didn't want to corrupt the new version of office with an older
normal.dot file. Thanks!

Thanks, I must have forgotten about that. I know it doesn't backup all
settings, a few things it doesn't do.
Have a blessed day!

Did you try using the "Office Save My Settings Wizard" from the Office Tools
Folder in Office XP.
