Word XP - how to protect a text block

John

How does one define a block of text, containing spaces,
which will be protected from unwanted line feeds or page
feeds?

Thanks in advance,
John

You can't completely. You can use non-breaking spaces (Ctrl-Shift-Spacebar)
but at some point Word has to break a line when it exceeds the
margins/indents. You can format the paragraph to "keep lines together" which
will keep the paragraph all on the same page (if possible).
