Word Pro 2003--Writing style is missing some choices--HELP

G

Guest

Just obtained Office Pro 2003 via MSDN subscription. Problem in Word. In this
path>>Word>>Tools>>Options>>Spelling & Grammar tab>> Writing Style drop down
window list should offer Grammar, Custom, Technical.

I loaded every bell and whistle when I installed. I do NOT have Custom or
Technical. I use Technical extensively and even the help file says it's
there. No its not and I really need it. HELP PLEASE

Word no longer offers these options. You get a choice of Grammar Only or
Grammar & Style. But you can pick and choose the elements you want to
include using the Settings button. If you can define "Technical," then you
can set the settings accordingly.

Thanks for info. Also, Microsoft needs to change their help file because it
does not seem to know that.

Help does tend to lag behind a bit.

Unfortunately there isn't a "Was this information helpful?" link at
the bottom of this Help topic so you could submit this feedback. And
since dialog box Help uses offline content, instead of online content,
it's likely this will not be changed.

Looks like another item to add to the ever-growing "Help Issues" list.
<sigh>
