Fascinating....
Just tried to search through a network folder of files, all of them SGML,
which contain a specific word, let's say, "CAT". And I just happen to know
that there are such files present in that folder.
Ok, I click to search mode with Windows Explorer and type in the the search
word "CAT". The result is "Search complete. There are no results to display."
Wait a second. I just KNOW there should be results.
Next thing I try is I create a text document, which contains the very same
word. The search no problem locating this one. Hmmm...let's just open one of
the SGML-files with notepad and see. Yeah, I was right - there are a number
of "CATs" on clear ASCII. It's as if the Explorer would skip the SGML(SGM)
-files completely!
Ideas, anyone?
