Word/Outlook Auto recover after crash

I prepared an email with Outlook (set to use Word as processor), then
switched tasks for a while (before sending) and managed to crash Word.
Outlook kept running, but the open message closed. I assumed the messgae
would have been saved to Drafts folder (it was open far longer than the 3
minute auto save setting) but it has simply dissappeared. The other docs
open in Word were auto recovered - why not the Outlook Message? Why was a
draft not saved? I have searched the C drive for remnants of the message but
unsuccessful. Any help?

Thanks
