Word HYPERLINK added

R

Richard M

Good Morning

Why is Outlook (2003) automatically adding the word HYPERLINK when I type a
web address in a message. On my side it looks ok, ie. it does not show, but
the recepient has the word HYPERLINK added and the aeb address repeated.

Any thoughts?

Regards, Richard

You're probably using Word as your email editor and have field codes turned
on. Check here while creating or editing a message: Tools menu > Options >
View menu

Thanks help, but I'm afraid I'am at a loss. If I look at Tools> Options>
Mail format it says Rich Text. I can't find "field Codes". Sorry for
troubles, thanks help.

Start a new mail message, go to that Tools menu > Options > View tab.
