Word email Outbox

Andrew

I posted a similar message on the Word forum but since I'm not sure where the
problem needs fixed (or if it is even possible) I'm posting it here as well.

I am working with a client who uses a third party program to generate Word
documents. There is an email icon the client then uses to send the email from
Word. Previously Outlook Express was used and Office 2003. My client claims
it always sent immediately. The client has since updated to a new computer
with Office 2007. As the user uses multiple profiles (in Outlook) and his
employees are easily confused, Outlook is typically closed. Is there any way
to have the email send immediately when Send is clicked in Word instead of
the message going to Outlook's Outbox folder? My client needs to have the
email send right away and not sit in the Outbox folder until the profile is
opened.

Thanks for any help!

Tell the employees they wont get paid until the develop a culture of
completing a thorough job.

Discipline problem?

Is it possible he could set up his network to stream word and outlook from a
server computer, where as the end user accesses and uses word from a server
which in turn has outlook/exchange constantly running on that machine to
serve/deliver the mail?

Outlook has always had the requirement of needing to be open in order to
send mail. This was just as true with Outlook 2003 as it is with Outlook
2007. Your client is misremembering.

Unless you're using Exchange, of course.
