Word Document viewing on different computers

Why would a word document show differently on different computers? I have a
one page word document that opens differently when I view it on different
computers. One computer keeps it a one page document, but the other computer
makes it a 2 page document. Both computers are using Microsoft Word 2003.
How can I keep this a one page document on the other computer?

Different printers most likely. Page layout in Word is based on the
default printer. Even the same printer with different driver versions
might result in a different layout of the same document.
