Word 97, 2000 or 2002

Hello,

I presently am running Word 97 on Win XP home. I'm thinking of
upgrading to Word 2000 or Word 2002 and would like to have some advice
as to which might be best version to buy.

I was planning on 2002 until I saw some opinions that it is extra
large, a memory hog and more show than useful changes.

I do just normal home use and some small business.

I'd appreciate any advice.

Thanks.

It's usually best to have the most recent version, in this case Word 2003
for the following reasons:

1. Support will be available longer.
2. If you use/write macros, you should have the latest version.
3. 3rd party apps may be designed to work (better) with the most recent
version of Office.
