Word 2007 - Border width changes with zoom?

Hi everyone,

I have been trying to print my word document to pdf using the virtual pdf
printer. Some borders print out darker than others even though they are all
set to 1/2". At first I thought this had to do with the PDF printer but it is
actually in the word document. At 100% they all the same but then zoomed to
230% some are bolder than others. The PDF printer picks these up so the
tables look like the borders are different. What could be the problem? I have
tried every setting on both word and pdf printer. Thanks guys!

When I print from the actual word docment it doesn't but when I convert the
word document to a PDF and then to an image it shows up on the printouts. I
can send you the .doc so you can see for yourself. I can't figure it out.
Thanks

No, when i print the pdf directly it shows up just like the word document. So
it must been when I save the PDF as a JPEG. What do recommend saving the pdf
as so the quality stays the same. I'm using Access and have been inserting
the image into a form. Is there another extension that might work? Thanks

Stefan,

I think i figured it out. I played with the settings on the Save As for the
PDF to JPEG. The quality still isn't the same a direct print but I have fixed
the thickness of each line.

So the problem is with the conversion from PDF to JPEG. Have you considered
trying a different application for the conversion?

I got it working!

I just had to manually set some settings in Adobe when saving to a JPEG.
Upped the resolution and some other settings. It looks exactly like a direct
print now. Thanks for your help Stefan!
