Word 2003 - Task Pane

Does anyone know how to clear the list of previously opened documents from
the Getting Started task pane. I normally find them useful, but I have now
got about 80 displayed which is getting out of hand. I have tried clearing
the 'recently used files list' from the xp start menu and turning off recent
list in Word Tools, options. Any ideas?

Figured it out. I turned off recently used list in Word, Tools, Options.
Closed down Word and reopened. Has been reset.
