Word 2003: How increase # recently used templates shown with New

When I use the File....New command a window comes up on the right side of the
screen with options. One section of this is "Recently Used Templates" It
lists four. I would like to increase the number of recently used templates
retained (analagous to increasing the number of recently used doc files in
the Open menu.) Is there a way to do this?

"Is there a way..." covers a lot of territory, but within reasonable limits,
No.

If you share more detail about what you are actually hoping to accomplish
there may be some suggestions that will do just as well or better.

There are about six templates I use regularly. Since only 4 are kept active
in this list, I have to use a couple more key strokes or mouse clicks to
bring up the template that has been "bumped" off the bottom of the list.
Obviously this is not a very big problem, but after a few years of doing
this, I thought I would see if there were a more efficient way. From your
reply, I will accept "No" as the answer and not waste more time on it.
Thanks for your help.
