Word 2002 - paste print screen problem

I have a problem with my Word 2002. The operating system is XP Home. Both are
up to date.
If I make a snapshot of the Device Manager and paste it in Word, I get an
empty document. The print screen key works well. I've checked the keyboard
with the other computer. There is something wrong with my Word and I cannot
find it out.

Any suggestion and solution would be truly appreciated.

Maybe you have the "Picture Placeholders" item checked under
Tools>Options>View. If that is the case, instead of seeing the image, you
would see an empty box. You may also need to switch to Print/Page Layout
view, rather than Normal view if that is what you are in.

The "Picture Placeholders" item is not checked. The Print/Page Layout is
also switched.
