Word 2002: How to add empty rows to numbering ?

M

Mr. Low

Hi,

When typing a normal paragraph, I could insert empty rows by just striking
the enter key.

However when I am under the numbering or bullet mode by strikiing enter
twice the next number or bullet is gone.

May I know if there is a way for me to have an empty row when I am in the
numbering or bullet mode?

i.e: 1. xx xxxx

2. xxx xxx

3. xxx xxx

Thanks

Low

If you press Enter immediately in a numbered paragraph, Word assumes you
want to skip numbering for that paragraph (to leave a blank line). If you
type at least one space, the numbering will be preserved.
