word 2002 does not open

word 2002 was included on a disc when i bought computer in 2002 w/other
programs on same disc. i cannot now open. it is asking for name, initials,
organization &product key which is not on disc & cannot be found. how do I
open Word/ please help as i have files there. thank u.

You *cannot* open Word from the CD. The program has to be installed onto
your computer, which is what is trying to take place based on your
description. The Product Key should be somewhere in the documentation that
came with the computer. If not, contact the supplier to get that
information.

Are you sure the software hasn't already been installed? Without knowing
more about your configuration it's difficult to tell you exactly how to go
about finding out, but whoever sold you the system should be able to provide
you with at least a _little_ bit of support.
