WORD 2000 DOCUMENTS ARE FREEEZING EVERYTIME I OPEN THEM

I HAVE LOST THE WORKS SUITE 2000 DISCS THAT I INSTALLED WORD FROM INITIALLY
AND HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM WITHOUT THEM. EVERYTIME I TRY TO
OPEN A WORD DOCUMENT THE COMPUTER FREEZES. SOMETIMES A DIALOGUE BOX APPEARS
SAYING NOT ENOUGH MEMORY SPACE TO OPERATE WORD, EVEN THOUGH THERE SHOULD BE.
OTHER TIMES IT JUST FREEZES. EXEL AND ALL OTHER PROGRAMMES ARE STILL WORKING.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to
address
your problem there. (Try microsoft.public.word)

ALSO: THERE@S NO NEED TO SHOUT!! We can hear you just as well (and
often more easily) when you use small case.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate
the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.
